2022 Southern Living Adaptive Cottage

The 2022 project was the first-ever Southern Living Adaptive Cottage. Designed to demonstrate that accessibility can be integrated beautifully into a home, the cottage incorporated aging-in-place and adaptive features without sacrificing warmth, architectural character, or style.

The project also supported the Parkinson’s Foundation, giving the home a purpose that extended well beyond its walls.

2025 Southern Living Showcase Home

The 2025 Southern Living Showcase Home continued APB’s tradition of nationally recognized construction in Habersham. Designed as an accessible, multigenerational island cottage, the home combines Lowcountry architecture, welcoming porches, natural light, custom details, and spaces created for multiple generations to live comfortably together.
