Construction in the historic Point section of Beaufort created a unique challenges for Allen Patterson Builders, requiring this house to blend seamlessly with the vintage homes surrounding it. Every step in the building process was approved by the very strict Historic Review Board. Old brick was used on the façade along with period shutters and vents. A carriage house/ garage with built in barbecue complements the exterior. On the interior, an elegant floating staircase welcomes guests. One of the most beautiful accents is the marble backsplash in the cooking area with niches for condiments, utensils or display which personalize this area for the owners.
