The Certified Master Builder program is a professional designation program created by the Homes Builders Association of South Carolina to identify exemplary home builders who have a proven track record of integrity, stability and exceptional service to their buyers. This program improves the professionalism, management practices, quality, and customer service among builders.
To obtain the Master Builder Certification, a builder must be nominated by his peers and satisfy stringent review criteria including time in the industry, customer service & satisfaction, financial stability, adherence to accepted building technology standards, and governmental compliance.
The Light House Award for Best Overall New Home was awarded to Allen Patterson Builders for the construction of the new home for Robert and Lydia Mondavi on St. Helena Island. The Light House Award is awarded to the Lowcounty’s most talented builders and is presented by the Hilton Head Area Home Builders Association. Seventy nine qualifying entries competed for four construction awards. The Mondavi’s home demonstrates our quality craftsmanship and design excellence.
